Hypervisor Benchmark Progressing
Thanks to those who completed our online survey on embedded hypervisors. EEMBC and the prpl Foundation have begun analyzing the information and we’re getting close to deciding the parameters for this industry-standard hypervisor benchmark. As I indicated previously, the benchmark will allow processor, OS, and hypervisor vendors to fairly demonstrate their performance advantages (or disadvantages?). Contact Markus Levy if you’re interested in joining this working group at EEMBC.
Linley IoT Hardware Conference 2017
To better prepare for the challenges in IoT and wearable design, join the Linley Group’s IoT conference on July 25 - 26 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Santa Clara, CA. This two-day, single-track conference will cover hardware design for a variety of IoT applications. EEMBC will be exhibiting at this conference.
